Just like many of our customers and their communities we have been hit hard by the global pandemic of COVID-19. BIOZONE International staff have now resorted to working from home as we have been placed in a national lockdown.
However, this does not mean that we have stopped caring about our customers and the teaching community. Despite the strange circumstances, our staff have been working as hard as ever to provide teaching resources and support to teachers who have now been forced to transition to a digital classroom environment.

We want to make the transition to digital learning as seamless as possible for our teachers.

One of our main goals as a company was to improve the customer experience of using our BIOZONE eBooks. A big part of that was sitting down and taking a good look at our customer's journey.
We felt that the best way to improve upon it would be to better guide our new customers through the setup process as well as through the many features on the site.

To do so, we created the eBook Training Platform.

This site contains our walkthrough videos designed to help our first-time users become more famiar with our BIOZONE eBooks. Whether you are a Student, Teacher or Admin we have videos for you.

One of our biggest goals at BIOZONE is to make our content inclusive and accessible for all students. To do so, we recently installed ReadSpeaker into both our eBook and Academy sites to provide text-to-speech for students.

Now, we are happy to announce that we have partnered with Cenveo Publisher Services to convert and upload our titles to the NIMAC.

What is the NIMAC?
The National Instructional Materials Access Center (NIMAC) is a federally funded online file repository of source files in the NIMAS format. From here users can access NIMAS files which they can then convert into formats such as braille, audio, digital and large print.

Although we plan to convert all of our existing and future titles, we will start with our NGSS titles. We plan to have these titles converted, uploaded and ready for our customers by the end of June.

We wanted to improve our look and make it even easier for teachers to discover our eBooks

So we knocked our heads together and have created an easy-to-use, informative mini site with all of our eBook information and resources in one place.
